It also makes us more likely to trust you and give you additional permissions on the site later on. If you don't want to give away your full identity, consider abbreviating your last name and using "Joanne B" instead of "Joanne Blogs". If you're just not happy with this and want to remain annonymous, please at least consider choosing a pseudonym or something that sounds real.
