Castle Hill, Laxton, near Ollerton, North Nottinghamshire: at dawn (5.29 am). With guest musicians, singers and dancers.
After the singing and dancing there will follow the traditional cooked breakfast of bacon, sausage, black pudding, eggs and bread rolls. Those with stronger stomachs can wash this down with real ale!

Not the familiar Holmfirth Folk Festival (which is not taking place this year) but an alternative event put on by local people (including some who have been involved with the "official" festival in the past). It will feature concerts, sessions, dance displays and children's events; camping facilities are available.
