Public lecture Tuesday February 18th
7.30 pm at Forum House, Spital Hill, Sheffield.
Harry Bradshaw, one of the foremost producers of traditional music employed by the Irish State Radio (RTE) will be presenting a public lecture, illustrated by video and audio clips from the Irish Traditional Music Archive. Harry will talk about his work re-mastering the RTE collection for the Traditional Music Archive, and will discuss techniques of collecting oral culture in the context of a Somali archive being established in Sheffield. Admission free.
